Aisha Hinds, an American actress, is recognized for her roles on the television series The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003 she has proved her versatility as an actress through stunning performances in television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her character as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to attract her interest. The film was her character as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) on the biographical All the Way film that led to her fame as an actor. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's time-based drama Underground was equally praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season.
