Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer was born in August of 1981. Her appearances in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and in the tv series Angela's eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most recognizable works. Amantha is the lead in Rectify the Sundance Channel Drama Series. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. Her fame was boosted by her roles in the drama show Rectify. Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a part in the soap-opera All My Children. To honor her performance she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. In the following years she was mostly a guest on characters on a variety of TV shows. The role she played as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne was praised by the audience. The character gradually gained a fan base with her stunning looks and incredible acting abilities. When she was twenty, she made her debut in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film where she played a leading role. The actress was nominated to the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her performance in the film Beautiful Now'. In the show Timeless Spencer played the character of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was awarded a Teen Choice Award nomination and is also being praised for her work in this show by the media.
